This Privacy Policy describes how the Bhagavad Gita mobile application ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described herein.
The App is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:
The App may display ads via Google AdMob. Google may use device identifiers and other data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of personalized ads through your device settings. Users who purchase the ad-free option will not see any advertisements.
If you make a purchase (e.g., ad-removal), the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.
The App uses your device's built-in TTS engine. No audio recordings are made, and no voice data is transmitted externally.
All personal data (bookmarks, progress, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any server that stores user data. If you uninstall the App, all local data is removed.
While we strive for perfection, the sacred texts, translations, or summaries may contain typographical or software-related errors. If you find any incorrect data, missed words, or technical mistakes in the verses or translations, please report it to the developer immediately so it can be corrected in future updates.
The App may use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
If you have any questions, or if you need to report content errors in the Gita text:
